About Emily C. Beschen

Emily C. Beschen is an associate attorney with The Law Offices of Robert D. Butler. Emily graduated from Lewis and Clark Law School in 2010. During Law School Emily focused on criminal law and privacy law. While there, Emily worked as a research assistant, assisting a local civil rights attorney with lawsuits involving law enforcement. She also served as an associate editor of the nation's oldest law review dedicated solely to animal law issues.

Before joining our office, Emily gained experience as a law clerk at the Federal Public Defenders Office (2008-2010), as a legal intern at Metropolitan Public Defenders (2009-2010), and as a consumer mediator at the Washington State Attorney General's Office (2005-2006). Emily excelled at trial preparation, motion drafting, and research of complex legal issues.
